A Hospital Visit

Today we went to a village called Milot. Other than
having beautiful mountain scenery and the historic
Christophe Palace, Milot is also a host to an earthquake
refugee hospital. We first entered a tent that was helping
several child victims. I was shocked to see a number of
small children with missing limbs. Despite all of their
problems, these victims were incredibly cheerful. We were
rewarded with several smiles after handing out the beanie
babies which were collected at my school. Today I
experienced people making the best of a tragic event.
