PLANNED GIVING

See Gifts in Action During Your Lifetime or Leave a Legacy

Because Terrier Rouge and the efforts of Bethlehem Ministry hold a special place in your heart, as you meet with your CPA, financial professional, or attorney, please ask how planned giving can benefit both you and those we serve in Haiti.

A “planned gift” does not have to be extremely complex or cost lots of money in legal fees.  Below are a few ways planned giving can make an immediate impact as well as leave a legacy.

During Life Gifts (Gifts in Action During Your Lifetime):

  • Gift your required minimum distribution (from your IRA) directly to Bethlehem Ministry. You will avoid the necessity of reporting the amount of your contribution as current taxable income.

  • Transfer highly appreciated stock/mutual funds to a donor-advised fund (avoid paying long-term capital gains tax and benefit from a possible tax deduction while controlling the amount and timing of the gift).

Testamentary Gifts (Leave a Legacy):

  • Give through your will or Trust

  • Name Bethlehem Ministry, Inc. as a beneficiary to your life insurance policy. Our tax ID is 58-2057480.
