We are truly thankful for another successful Clinique Espérance et Vie event, which served aging and disabled individuals in Terrier Rouge, Haiti! The Clinic brought its services in-town as a mobile clinic on the grounds of a public high school on Saturday, May 2nd, providing medical consultations, a referral card for the Clinic, and distributing medications and donated food to 100 local community members.
In addition to a very nice, freshly prepared lunch including rice, beans, and a piece of chicken and a soda, a food aid package (rice, beans, oil and canned mackerel) to take home was provided that the NGO Espérance et Vie and School staff, Bethlehem Ministry Executive Director Rennae Henry, Pastor Leigh Jones, and the Clinic's service year dentist Dr. Jr Jonel Lubin, had packed the day before.
Medical Director Dr. Guerda Pierre Benjamin, who successfully organized both this event and last month's open-house event, head nurse Madeline, and all the EEV Clinic staff, along with Father Bruno, Rennae Henry, Pastor Leigh Jones, and everyone who provided support at this event, were grateful for such a successful day! A very big thank you to all of the incredible contributors and the amazing Clinic staff for making a difference in Haiti!
