Visit to JP!

While JP’s agronomists spend a lot of time in the Haitian mountains working with farmers, JP also has a base near Terrier Rouge, Haiti, which includes its roadside store, storage and processing facilities for cashews and other products, as well as a tree nursery and a large vegetable garden to help provide fresh produce to community members in the area.

Pastor Leigh Jones and Bethlehem Ministry Executive Director Rennae Henry visited the facility and met Merilus, a JP agronomist. They were able to see the new shade for the tree nursery, the new cashew storage shed, the new concrete pad that will become a cassava mill and bakery at a future date, as well as JP’s enormous vegetable garden. The garden’s current produce included cabbage, carrots, and other root vegetables and peppers. Of course, Pastor Leigh and Rennae did not leave without buying some JP products to bring home!
